Fresno burglary suspect arrested

A man suspected of breaking into several cars in Southeast Fresno has been arrested.

A man suspected of breaking into several cars in Southeast Fresno has been arrested.

Police say Bennie Montes is responsible for a string of burglaries. Investigators say the person caught on a surveillance video is Montes -- breaking into a woman's car in front of a pharmacy near Tulare and Cedar. If you have any information regarding Montes, or the cars he is accused of breaking into, you are asked to call Fresno Police.

In the video, a man is seen breaking a window, then grabbing a purse containing $700 in cash and some medication. If you have any information regarding Montes, or the cars he is accused of breaking into, you are asked to call Fresno Police.
