Action News anchor rides 'Wicked' bubble

FRESNO, Calif.

Before the curtain rose on Friday, one of our Action News anchors got an exclusive ride on one of the props. AM Live anchor Margot Kim tapped into her inner Glinda on the set of "Wicked" -- a story about the Witches of Oz, before Dorothy dropped in.

The machine she was in is a moving metal bubble, which transports the character of Glinda the Good Witch in the opening act of the show. The machine also blows bubbles -- reflecting Glinda's bubbly personality.

The actress who plays Glinda says she's thrilled to be part of the show making its return to Fresno.

"I think it touches people's hearts, and a love story between friends is something we can all relate to, and I think that's what's so special about this show," said Kara Lindsay.

At one point, Kara and Margot noticed that they're the same height as Glinda's magic wand.

"Wicked" continues its Fresno run at the William Saroyan Theater through April 13.
