The fire started around 2:45 a.m. Tuesday near 6th Street and Platt in Southeast Fresno. Investigators said it's the second time in a week that they've responded to a fire at the home. In both cases, firefighters said gas was poured around the garage, and then lit on fire.
Crews were able to keep the flames from spreading from the garage and no one was injured. Investigators are looking into whether someone had been living inside the garage before it was destroyed.
