A Modesto jury has found Dustin Gran sane at the time he murdered Krista Pike. The 18-year-old North Valley teenager was killed six years ago in Madera.

Thursday's sanity deliberations only took about an hour. The same jury found him guilty just last month in Pike's murder. This means Gran will get life in prison without parole.

Prosecutors say Gran killed Pike at the request of another teenager, Brittany Navarra. Her trial is scheduled to be pushed back as late as August.
