Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and several other groups helped clean up areas of Fresno and Clovis during Saturday's Day of Service. Some painted fences along Armstrong Avenue, while others helped clean up the recreation area at Avocado Lake.
Another Day of Service is planned for Saturday, April 26. The projects will include sprucing up the Fresno Regional Sports Complex and the bird sanctuary in Woodward Park.
