Police said detectives arrested Allen on Wednesday morning without incident after they saw him walking in the area of Chestnut and Kings Canyon in Southeast Fresno. He was taken to the Fresno County Jail.
On Sunday, Fresno Police received several calls of gunshots at the Manchester Gardens apartments on Clark Street, near Blackstone and Dakota avenues, shortly before 3 a.m. When they arrived, investigators discovered Hood was shot several times inside one of the units.
Hood was taken to Community Regional Medical Center where he died shortly after arriving.
Homicide detectives are still investigating the shooting.
