Police are investigating a shooting in Southeast Fresno that left one person injured.

Fresno police officers say a man opened fire on three people in a courtyard area of El Monte and Sierra Vista just before 6:30 p.m. Saturday. An 18-year-old man was shot in the arm and is now recovering.

Witnesses say the suspect had a silver handgun with a long barrel. He was seen driving away in a newer-model white Ford Expedition with a license plate starting with 5NF.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to come forward.
