It happened early Sunday morning on West Fairmont Avenue near Holt Avenue. When Fresno police officers arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds to his foot, leg and arm. He was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center and is expected to be OK.
The victim says he was on the balcony of his apartment while two men were standing in the alley below, when one of them pulled out a handgun and shot him. The man told investigators he believes the shooting happened after he got into an argument with a neighbor on Saturday night.
