Clovis' PCH Subs closes its doors
PCH Subs has gone out of business after 14 years at Herndon and Fowler avenues.

CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- A sandwich shop in Clovis closed its doors for good on Sunday.

PCH Subs has gone out of business after 14 years at Herndon and Fowler avenues. The surf-themed shop has suffered from less foot traffic and more competition.

Guy Foell runs the shop owned by his parents and says while it's been tough to say goodbye, the kindness from customers has been overwhelming.

"It's been really touching, surprising because everyone's kind of face value when you see them and stuff, but really when something like this kind of happens they kind of come out and express their gratitude," he said.

Foell says he doesn't have plans for what he'll do next but might return to school and get into the beer business.
