Elephant Bar near Fresno's River Park abruptly shuts down

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A local hot spot in northwest Fresno has closed its doors Monday.

The Elephant Bar at Blackstone and Nees Avenues shut down Sunday night and the business says it will not be reopening. All those who worked at the location are also out of work.

The Elephant Bar has not responded about their reasoning for the closure.

However, a sign through the restaurant's window reads, "We want to thank you for your patronage. We have permanently closed this location."
