Forever 21 at Tulare Outlet Center to open this weekend
There is good news for shoppers right before the start of the holiday season: a new store is opening in the South Valley.

TULARE, Calif. (KFSN) -- There is good news for shoppers right before the start of the holiday season: a new store is opening in the South Valley.

Forever 21 is opening a brand-new store at the Tulare Outlet Center on Saturday at 10 a.m. The first 100 people in line will receive gift cards ranging from $10 to $210.

Female shoppers are not the only ones excited about the new shop.

"I'm completely stoked because it's the easiest place to shop for a girl; you don't have to go anywhere else because anything she'll be more than happy with," said Michael Coito.

Coito has lived in Tulare his whole life. He says he's seen a lot of change at the outlets.

"It used to be so much smaller years ago; now everybody wants to come here," he said.

That's a good sign for the outlet center, but it's also good news for the community.

"We generate a lot of tax base for the city so the city can do things within the city of Tulare to make the city even a nicer place to live, and work, and prosper," said Patty Rocha, general manager of the Tulare Outlet Center.

Rocha says they attract customers from across the region. The stores are easy to spot from Highway 99. Now, Forever 21 joins more than 50 brands already doing business in town.

There are two more stores that will also be opening there soon in the next couple of weeks, but it hasn't been announced just yet what stores are coming.
