Indoor Cycling center to open near River Park
Construction is currently underway on the 3,000 square building in the village at River Park shopping center.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Cycling has become a popular sport around the country and now an indoor cycling studio is coming to Fresno.

Ride 54 will be opening next to Dave and Busters at Fresno and Friant Avenues. Construction is currently underway on the 3,000 square building in the village at River Park shopping center.

It will feature a theater-style environment with sound and lighting system, and instructors will teach high-energy cycling classes and strength training.

"Soul cycle and flywheel are a couple of the big names and they've really taken this concept and done well with it," Layne Lev with Ride 54 said. "We wanted to build a similar space here that was at that level."

Ride 54 is expected to open this fall. They will offer monthly memberships and single classes.
