Square at Campus Pointe in Northeast Fresno holds grand opening celebrations

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Square at Campus Pointe is officially open at Fresno State. The shopping center held its grand opening celebrations on Friday. This is the first phase of the new public-private partnership with Fresno State and the Campus Pointe developers.

On Friday, Cold Stone Creamery opened. The Mad Duck and the Beach Hut Deli opened earlier this week. This is a project Fresno State says will help attract new students.

Just a few months ago, Maya Cinemas opened at Campus Pointe. The theater offers unique movie-watching experiences. Other businesses, like Yogurtland, will be opening soon to fill out the shopping center.
