Two Fig Garden Village stores closed down

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno's Fig Garden Village Shopping Center has lost two popular stores.

The Coach Store and White House Black Market are now closed. The Coach Store opened at the Shaw and Palm location in 2006. A statement from the retailer said the closure was due to the expiration of it's 10-year lease in January.

The property owners for Fig Garden also released a statement saying they are working with two high-quality retailers to take over the prime spaces.

The owners declined to say exactly which two new businesses.
