FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The 14th annual Parker's Pal blood drive and marrow registry was held at the Savemart Center. It was significant because this was the last one.

Parker Fritsch is the inspiration behind the event. He was four years old when he was diagnosed with leukemia.

Since then, Parker and his family teamed up with the Central California Blood Center to give back to the one place that provided him with units of blood during all his treatments.

Officials say the event has been a success.
