Remember When Fly In and Car Show
Aviation and car enthusiasts from throughout the Central Valley flocked to Fresno Chandler Executive Airport on Saturday.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Aviation and car enthusiasts from throughout the Central Valley flocked to Fresno Chandler Executive Airport on Saturday.

The Remember When Fly-In and Car Show displayed dozens of vintage airplanes alongside rows of antique and classic cars.

"Hearing the motors run... the radio engines... it's kind of exciting," said pilot David Bump. "It's a family-oriented thing. Always good food, good cars, good airplanes."

One highlight for those in attendance was a World War II DC3 aircraft that people were able to ride in. That same plane is believed to have flown Winston Churchill and members of the royal family.

This is the third year the Central Valley Aviation Association hosted this event.
