The Central Valley's Sikh community celebrates a month of giving

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Central Valley's Sikh community is celebrating a month of giving.

Saturday, members spent time serving meals to the homeless at the Poverello House in Downtown Fresno.

Since 2009, the Sikh community has contributed hundreds of hours in volunteer time at the non-profit.

Organizers also presented the poverello house with a check for $20,000 Saturday.

The money will be used to help end valley homelessness.
