The gates are closing on another year at the Big Fresno Fair

FRESNO, Calif. -- The gates are closing on another year at the Big Fresno Fair tonight.

The biggest crowds came out this weekend to enjoy the fair all the way up to closing day. Vendors said last week it was a little slower compared to past years so they were expecting a huge turnout this weekend and they say that is exactly what they got.

"We had sold out shows this weekend and crowds came the lines were tremendous we had huge crowds last night and today all day long," said Stacy Rianda deputy manager.

Fresno Police say it has been a great year here at the fair and have had no major incidents -- and really the only types of problems have been people just having too much to drink.
