FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- You can help the Marine Corps League make the holidays brighter for a child in need. Please donate a new, unwrapped toy at your nearest Toys for Tots drop off location. Volunteers are trying to collect 40,000 toys to meet the needs of children in Fresno County.

The Toys for Tots Marathon weekend comes to an end at the top of the hour and they are counting up the donations right now.

Kevin Musso is at the main drop off location with how every donation helps make Christmas happen for valley kids.

The community is coming together to help kids in need feel the joy of the holiday season.

Volunteers will collect new, unwrapped toys at the River Park Shopping Center December 1-3rd.
