Easy Stir Fry recipe
Chef Shayna from the Young Chef's Academy in Fresno shows us how to make a tasty stir fry.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak, cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 2 TB corn starch
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4- 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 TB water as needed
  • 1 TB minced garlic
  • 1 TB ginger paste
  • Veggies
  • Broccolini
  • Diced red bell pepper
  • Mushrooms
  • Shredded carrots

Directions

  1. In a ziplock bag shake 2 TB corn starch to completely cover flank steak.
  2. Add in soy sauce and brown sugar to marinate.
  3. Cook in wok or skillet with 2 TB oil over medium high heat until the meat is cooked through. Remove meat to a plate and set aside.
  4. Add few more TB oil and stir in veggies to sauté. Cook until softened about 5 minutes. Add water as needed. Stir in garlic & ginger and cook an additional 2 minutes. Stir back in steak and toss to combine.

Serve hot over a bed of rice.

Option to sprinkle in red chili flakes for added spice.
