Clovis teachers use superhero video to get students ready for exams

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Teachers at one school in the Clovis Unified School District are trying to get their students pumped up for next week's upcoming state exams by making a catchy, fun video.

Teachers at Woods Elementary produced a four-minute superhero video. It was shown to students Friday morning in preparation for the tests that begin next week.

With lyrics set to the tune of "Uma Thurman" by Fallout Boy, the video shows a cast of villains like "Stressed and "No Sleep" who are trying to keep students from being successful on the state exam.

But the heroes meet up with the villains, such as "Healthy Breakfast" and "Rested," fighting them and ultimately defeating them.
