Ensuring the Arts for Any Given Child

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno County educators took time to celebrate some of their biggest success stories over the past few months.

Today the county office of education took a look at some of the events made possible by the "Ensuring The Arts For Any Given Child" initiative.

"Any given child" includes 10 schools working with a $1.4 million grant. County schools superintendent Jim Yovino says it's brought about quite a few education highlights -- including a special event back in May. That's when dozens of Fresno County music students got the chance to play with the Fresno Philharmonic Orchestra.

This is the second year of the "Any Given Child" initiative.
