FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno City College has boosted its summer school program. During years of state budget cuts the college reduced its summer school offerings. But this summer, three sessions are being offered and more than 8,000 students have enrolled.

Tim Woods, Vice President of Instruction said, "We are running classes from career exploration to workforce development to general education in mathematics in science. So students catch up and they accelerate their academic study by taking summer sessions."

And they save money. Summer courses at Fresno City College run $46 a credit hour. Registration for summer classes is online and is still open.
