Hoover Middle School motivates student with 'Principal's 200 Club'
Some students in the North Valley now have another reason to be the best in class and ahead of the pack.

MERCED, Calif. (KFSN) -- Some students in the North Valley now have another reason to be the best in class and ahead of the pack. Staff members at Hoover Middle School in Merced have arranged the Principal's 200 Club for seventh and eighth graders that show positive behavior.

Everyday the faculty hands out ten cards to those they see following the Husky Pack behavior. Pack stands for prepared, accountable, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Once the students are chosen they can pick from a variety of gifts. These students are also qualified to win a larger mystery prize which includes a food truck party or a pumpkin patch trip.

The Principal's 200 Club was implemented last year and has already recognized around 400 students.
