Thousands of Valley kids head back to school today!

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Back to School is here for several districts throughout the Valley. Schools in Tulare County, Kings County and Fresno County all start up back up today.

This year almost 16 thousand students are headed back to to more than 20 schools in the Central Unified District where the theme for this year is 'Scale up the impact'

One of the programs at Central Unified is not just special, it's award winning and recognizes one of the Valley's thriving industries Agriculture. The school has an 11-acre farm that students have helped build and from which they've learned farming techniques.
