'Alice in Wonderland' ballet comes to Fresno's Saroyan Theatre

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Hundreds of families enjoyed an adventure down the rabbit hole on Saturday. The Valley Performing Arts Council hosted this performance of "Alice in Wonderland" at the Saroyan Theatre in Downtown Fresno.

The ballet is based on the whimsical tale by Lewis Carroll. Several local dancers took the stage to bring the story to life. Action News anchor Sara Sandrik had the honor of serving as emcee.

This was the final show after a week of ballet outreach efforts at local schools and a special performance for students on Friday.
