First-ever ZappCon held in Downtown Fresno
Fans of comics, video games and movies came out to Downtown Fresno for the first-ever ZappCon on Saturday.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Thousands of people from around the world flock to San Diego to attend Comic-Con every year, and this weekend an event just like it is happening here in the Valley.

Fans of comics, video games and movies came out to Downtown Fresno for the first-ever ZappCon on Saturday. The family-friendly convention brought dozens of comic book artists, video game designers and movie makers to Valdez Hall.

The event also includes a cosplay competition, board game tournaments and superhero training for kids.
