'Grey's Anatomy' star James Pickens, Jr. to help kick off Clovis Rodeo festivities

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A member of "Grey's Anatomy" is helping kick off festivities for the 101st Clovis Rodeo.

James Pickens, Jr. -- who plays Dr. Richard Webber on the hit ABC show -- is hosting his sixth annual charity roping event the Tuesday before the rodeo begins. The actor and philanthropist says he is excited to be a part of the activities.

This free event features some of the best ropers in the sport and is on Tuesday, April 21.

Tickets for the Clovis Rodeo are on sale now, and the event runs from April 23 to 26. Ticket prices range from $20 to $30.
