Kids with special needs have fun at 101st Clovis Rodeo
The 101st Clovis Rodeo has now wrapped up its final day of roping and riding.

CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- The 101st Clovis Rodeo has now wrapped up its final day of roping and riding. The championship performances finished Sunday afternoon at the rodeo grounds.

But earlier in the day, children had the chance to test their western skills at the Special Kids Rodeo. The event is put on in partnership with Break the Barriers. It gives children with special needs the chance to ride, rope and participate in the rodeo next to professional cowboys and cowgirls.

Action News reporter Amanda Venegas had the honor of serving as the event's emcee.
