Singer, songwriter and actress Rita Ora will perform the Oscar-nominated song "Grateful" at the 87th Oscars, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced in a press release on Wednesday.

"International recording artist, Rita Ora, will make her Oscar stage debut this year. The mixture of her incredible voice and glamour makes a perfect combination for our show" said Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.

Ora rose to fame after she dominated the U.K. charts in 2012 with her platinum self-titled album "Ora," which included the singles "R.I.P.," "How Do We (Party)" and "Hot Right Now." Now preparing her second full-length album, Ora will also appear in several films, including "50 Shades of Grey," and "Southpaw."

"Grateful," written by Diane Warren for the film "Beyond the Lights," is nominated for Original Song. The other four songs from the category include "Everything is Awesome" from "The LEGO Movie," "Glory" from "Selma," "I'm Not Gonna Miss You" from "Glen Campbell...I'll Be Me," and "Lost Stars" from "Begin Again." Adam Levine, Common and John Legend are also set to perform nominees from the Original Song category at the 87th Oscars.
