'The Nutcracker' returns to Downtown Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A favorite holiday tradition is back in Downtown Fresno this weekend.

On Saturday, the Sacramento Ballet and Fresno Ballet Theatre performed "The Nutcracker" in front of a full house at the Saroyan Theatre. The show also features more than 100 student dancers from across the Valley. This beautiful ballet is presented by the Valley Performing Arts Council.

Action News anchor Sara Sandrik had the honor of serving as emcee on Saturday and also joining the dancers on stage for the party scene.

The second and final show takes place on Sunday at 1 p.m.
