Food and fun is had at the Caruthers District Fair

CARUTHERS, Calif. (KFSN) -- The smell of food and the sounds of fun will soon be filling Caruthers.

Wednesday was opening day and people are expected to come from all over to try the food and get on a ride or two. The livestock building will be busy with animals and F.F.A. students. It's the state's largest free gate fair.

Organizers say this fair draws people from across the Valley every year who want to enjoy this fun filled event.
