Stolen tablet that aids brain-damaged boy replaced by Action News viewers
Generous Action News viewers have stepped up to help a Fresno mother replace a device that helps her son communicate.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- We first shared Susan Jeff's story with Saturday night at 11 p.m. Her 12 year old son, Ryan, has severe brain damage. He can't talk, but his mother recently bought a tablet with apps that allow him to replace words with pictures to express what he needs.

That tablet was stolen out of Susan's car along with her purse and other items. A go-fund-me account was set up in hopes of raising $500 to replace the device -- but it's already exceeded $650!

Susan said some used tablets have also been donated, so she will share those and the extra money with other children with disabilities in the Valley.
