Brew Fix Coffee Shop opens in Downtown Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- There's a new place to get your coffee fix in Downtown Fresno.

Brew Fix Coffee Shop is now open on Fulton Street in the Lede apartment complex. Owner Liz Fernando says she wanted to be part of the downtown revitalization efforts.

She says their shop is a no-frills coffee house that serves beans from local businesses. And her new venture brings together her love for coffee and her husband's love of Portland.

"I was a barista at a few coffee shops and I just loved it," she said. "I love what kind of people it brought in and it just kind of brings the community together."

Unlike most downtown businesses, Brew Fix is open seven days a week. Their signature special, not on the main menu, is the Brew Fix.
