Chef Shayna's slow cooker pulled pork
Chef Shayna from the Young Chef's Academy shows us her recipe for slow cooker pulled pork.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Chef Shayna from the Young Chef's Academy shows us her recipe for slow cooker pulled pork.

Slow cooker Pulled Pork

  • 1 piece pork shoulder (4-5lbs)

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 1 can root beer or ginger ale

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • BBQ sauce for serving

Place all ingredients in the slow cooker on low for 6-7 hours. Use 2 forks to shred pork, stir in favorite BBQ sauce.

Serve on a bun alongside grilled Fresno State Corn & roasted potatoes.
