Chef Shayna's spooky Halloween snacks

When we think of Halloween, candy comes to mind. But you will need some regular food to get you through all that trick or treating.

Caprese Eye Bites

1 pint Cherry Tomatoes

1 container mozzarella balls

1 can Green Olives

1 Bunch Fresh Basil Leaves

Balsamic Glaze

Directions:

1. Slice tomatoes in half.

2. Slice Mozzarella and olives in 1/8" slices (about 4 pieces sliced from each peice)

3. Lay out Basil leaves to cover a platter.

4. Layer with Tomato, cheese slice, olive slice and add 1 drop of balsamic glaze to center.

Sick Pumpkin

1 pumpkin

Guacamole or favorite Dip.

Large Serving platter

Directions:

1. Hallow out pumpkin and clean. Carve face into pumpkin making mouth a large oval and triangle eyes.

2. Place at the edge of a platter and scoop guacamole onto platter coming from hole in mouth.

3. Add chips around the dip and serve.

Lit'l Mummies

1 package Lit'l Smokies

1 carton Crescent Rolls

Directions:

1. Unroll crescent dough. Keep 2 triangles together to form a rectangle and press the seams together.

2. Using a pizza cutter, cut 1/4" strips into the dough.

3. Use the strip to wrap around the Lit'l Smokie.

4. Place a on a baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
