Fresno County wineries hold barrel tasting event

Barrel Tasting
Beer and wine lovers are getting the chance to taste their way through Fresno County.

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Beer and wine lovers are getting the chance to taste their way through Fresno County.

Four breweries and 11 wineries and are participating and your wristband gets you an all access pass to each. The event is put on by the Twin Rivers Vintners Association and offers a unique wine and beer tasting experience.

Roll Out the Barrels

Saturday and Sunday, April 23 and 24, 2016 -- Noon to 5 p.m.

Each winery will have select wines available for attendees to taste and will offer patrons a chance to taste wine straight from a barrel before it is bottled and available for sale in the upcoming years.

The participating wineries are:

  • A. Nonini Winery
  • Engelmann Cellars
  • Fresno County Wine Journey
  • Kings River Winery
  • Lomac Winery
  • Los Californios Winery
  • Marechal Vineyards
  • Moravia Wines
  • Ramos Torres Winery
  • Ubick Vineyards (will be pouring at Moravia Wines)
  • Yribarren Family Vineyards

In addition to these wineries, two local breweries and two local tasting rooms. These include:

  • Full Circle Brewing
  • Tioga Sequoia Brewing Co.
  • ApCal
  • Simonian Farms

Wristbands are available for $5 in advance online.

Wristbands will be available on event days at any location for $10.

Each wristband is good for both days of the wine journey. Attendees are

invited to bring their own glass or purchase one from any participating location for $5.
