Pieology opening in Fresno, offering free pizzas

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A new restaurant at Fig Garden Village is offering free pizzas this weekend.

Pieology is a "watch it while they make it" chain that lets you customize your own pizza with a wide variety of toppings. This is the first one to set up shop in the Fresno area.

The restaurant hasn't officially opened yet, but the free pizza is being offered as part of staff training.

If you stop by at 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, you can be one of 150 people to get a complimentary creation. But spots filled up quickly on Saturday, so you'll want to get there early.

Pieology officially opens Tuesday, Oct. 21.
