Valley restaurant making thousands of tamales to get ready for the holidays
We are getting our holiday celebration started early with something many families will have at the dinner table.

SELMA, Calif. (KFSN) -- We are getting our holiday celebration started early with something many families will have at the dinner table.

For many throughout the Valley tamales are a family tradition, and with just five days until Christmas time is running out. But there is help if you don't have time to make your own.

The folks at Sal's are hard at work, in assembly-line fashion, preparing up to 30,000 tamales for the upcoming holiday.

Sal's Mexican Restaurant is celebrating 75 years in business, and they have been bringing Christmas cheer through their little pockets of love using a secret family recipe.

Sal's homemade tamales are made with their own unique blend of masa, meat, and chilies.

You can get their tamales at their three locations in Selma, Fresno, and Madera. You have until December 23rd to put in your orders.
