Fresno Police arrest man pushing shopping cart with stolen wheels and tires

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A known gang member is in jail after being caught with stolen wheels and tires. The suspect is identified as 27-year-old Raul Camposano of Fresno.

Police said they found him Monday after responding to a report of two guys stripping a car in an alley near First and Tulare. There they found a 1998 Acura Integra with all its wheels removed.

Several blocks away they spotted Camposano pushing a shopping cart with the stolen wheels and tires.

Camposano was on probation for auto theft and he has been booked into the Fresno County Jail for felony chop shop, auto theft, and probation violation charges.

The stolen car has been put back together and returned to its owner.
