Family HealthCare Network opens their largest health center in downtown Hanford

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A South Valley-based healthcare provider is expanding their services in Kings County, with a new health center in downtown Hanford.

The three-story structure was built in ten months.

Family HealthCare Network President and CEO Kerry Hydash say the organization literally worked around the clock to make that happen, with the help of their project partners.

"The reason we're here and expanding is because of the faith that the community members have in us, the faith they put in us to take care of their health, the commitment of the city and all the residents," Hydash said. "This really wouldn't be necessary without all that."

Family HealthCare Network has been in downtown Hanford since 2006.

But Hydash says they outgrew the old location.

The new one, on 5th Street, provides the same services, such as family medicine and pediatrics, plus more, including optometry and chiropractic services.

It has more than forty exam rooms.

Hydash says it's not only the organization's largest health center, at 38,000 square feet.

It is also the first to include all of their services under one roof.

"In Visalia, we have the services in the same area, but in three separate buildings," Hydash said. "This is the first center that's really fully-inclusive, patient center health home."

Family HealthCare Network will soon open a second facility in Porterville, as well as one in Strathmore and another in Visalia.
