Second recall in one month for Fresno Co. raw milk producer due to Salmonella

For the second time in one month Fresno Co. raw milk producer has product recalled due to Salmonella
The CDFA is recalling raw milk and cream produced by Organic Pastures Dairy of Fresno County due to the detection of Salmonella.

FRESNO COUNTY (KFSN) -- A warning has been issued to anyone who drinks raw milk. The State Department of Food and Ag is recalling raw milk and cream produced by Organic Pastures Dairy of Fresno County due to the detection of Salmonella.

CDFA inspectors found the bacteria as a result of product testing conducted in follow-up to a previous recall order on May 9, 2016, that was also due to the detection of Salmonella.

Buyers are being asked to not use raw milk or cream with a code date of June 1st, 2016.

Those items are also being pulled from grocery stores.
