FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Some moves that will result in toned glutes and thighs. Exercises to improve lower body strength and flexibility are important.

Having a well-rounded routine with basic movements like lunges and squats are great for a strong foundation, and you can use a variety of equipment to get the job done.

For our first exercise, we will have a weighted bar across our shoulders to load the buns and the thighs. With the lunge and weighted bar, we are targeting the Glutes and the thighs, keep a slow, steady and consistent movement. Keeping with the slow and more controlled motion really gets those muscles tone and tight.

Next, we will take our leg out into a wide leg squat, again take it slow and controlled. Keeping your chin up and flexing the core will help maintain our posture.

To add another degree of difficulty, bring your leg up and across your body and come back to the wide leg squat. This movement really fires the buns!
