Mini Maker Faire returns to Fresno Art Museum

The Second Annual Fresno Mini Maker Faire is back, and the event features some unique hand made items.

The Mini Maker Faire celebrates all items people have made, and all levels of experience -- from tech enthusiasts to garage tinkerers.

The Maker Faire is a show and tell showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the maker movement. It's a place where people show what they are making, and share what they are learning. Makers range from tech enthusiasts to crafters to homesteaders to scientists to garage tinkerers. They are of all ages and backgrounds. The aim of Maker Faire is to entertain, inform, connect and grow this community.

Dozens of makers will be at the faire including, John Collins the paper airplane guy. He will be doing demonstrations. His challenge is $1,000 says you can't fold his plane and make it fly farther than he did.
