FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Swashbucklers of all ages were transported back in time during the 11th annual Fresno Pirate Festival.
Organizers recreated new providence from the 1700s inside the park, and showed off their skills on deck. Kids could even earn their sea legs searching for gold and other treasure.
People who came out to this weekend's event were encouraged to dress in their best pirate attire. Magicians, jugglers, artists, and singers were also part of the festivities.
