License of Fresno's ES Oriental Food Market revoked by State and Fresno Police

The California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) has revoked the alcoholic beverage license of the ES Oriental Food Market located in Fresno.

According to a press release from ABC, the license was revoked because of violations involving receiving stolen property, possession of controlled substances for sale, the sale or transfer of a firearm without a license, possession of distilled spirits without a proper license and unauthorized use of California Electronic Benefit Transfers (EBT) benefits.

No new ABC license can be issued at the business location for at least a one-year period.

This enforcement action is a result of investigative efforts by the ABC and the Fresno Police Department.
