Man in custody after found with stolen gun in West Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Officers say 36-year-old Roosevelt Smith was detained for being on an active felony probation.

They found him near Parkway Drive and Olive Avenue.

When searching the car, officers found a loaded gun in the center console.

Smith was booked into the Fresno County Jail on various firearm-related charges
