Man in hospital after shooting in Tulare

A shooting investigation is underway at Bardsley Avenue and E Street in Tulare.

The Tulare Police Department received calls of about five to six shots fired at 6:40 p.m. Thursday night. When officers arrived on the scene, they found one male with a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where his condition is unknown.

Detectives are interviewing witnesses and are trying to determine a motive for the attack.
