Man stabbed and killed in Central Fresno
Fresno Police say a 30-year-old man was stabbed in the chest outside a fast food restaurant near Illinois Avenue and Abby Street in Central Fresno Sunday evening.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- It happened just before 7:00 pm Sunday, officers say there were about ten people around the area the time it happened but none of them saw the man get stabbed, however, officers did receive information that people heard yelling in the alley behind the Diciccos.

Lt. Joe Gomez of the Fresno Police Department said, "On the sidewalk was a stabbing victim I haven't identified at this time, it appears to be an African American male in his 30's stabbed in the upper body he was in a great deal of pain."

The victim was then transported to Community Regional Medical Center where he died from his injuries.

So far officers say they have no description of the suspect and will continue searching for evidence at the scene.
