Motorcyclist killed by DUI driver in Lemoore

LEMOORE, Calif. (KFSN) -- The accident happened just after 6 p.m. Saturday night near Highway I-98 and Avenal cut-off road.

Highway patrol officers say a vehicle collided with a motorcyclist, causing the motorcyclist to be thrown from the bike.

Authorities say the driver was under the influence. He was arrested and has been identified as 43-year-old David Workman.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
